Meet the Artists

  • Katherine Goforth

    Recipient of the Washington National Opera’s True Voice Award and the Career Advancement Award from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Katherine Goforth shares the “thrilling tenor power” (Opera News) of her “noble, colorful and iridescent vocal sound” (Magazin Klassik) and her “virile voice, does not hold back.” (The New York Times).

  • Abigail Krawson

    Acclaimed as "bewitching," having "her own soubretteish delivery," as well as "wringing every bit of sentiment out of her aria," Abigail Krawson is on the roster of The Portland Opera Chorus and The Portland Symphonic Choir, the Director of Children and Youth Choirs at Lake Grove Presbyterian Church, the Community Curator for the Renegade Opera, and is a popular soloist.

  • Claire Forstman

    An outstanding performer, Claire Forstman is a pianist and vocal coach currently based in Portland, Oregon, where she is in her second year as a member of the Resident Artist studio at Portland Opera.

  • Taylenne Ubieta Johnson

    Winner of the 2024 Portland Chamber Orchestra Young Artist Competition - Vocals
