A cool evening of stylistic fusion! Israeli guest conductor, composer and pianist, Yaron Gottfried, leads the Portland Chamber Orchestra and a Jazz Trio in a program that knits a connective thread to link music of the English Baroque, Viennese Classical and American Jazz styles. Gottfried’s “Mozart Swing” starts the program, and his “Capriol Jazz Suite” is followed by Mozart’s Symphony No. 40 in G Minor to conclude a unique concert.
